My Life?

I'm pretty happy with myself. There are many things that I regret. I have had hard times before, but I have recovered fully from them. Don't ever think that you are alone in this lifetime! If anyone ever needs someone to talk to, don't be afraid to ask me on here, Twitter, or Instagram! :)

What's This?

This page is a mixture of book reviews, advice, and a common day in my life. Hopefully, you'll find the time to enjoy my posts, if and when I post them. I can be a procrastinator at times. :)

Here is 10 tips to all incoming freshmen.
1) DON'T be that one freshman that talks so loudly that everyone can hear them. We get it, you want attention. You can stop now.

2) DON'T be afraid to ask your teacher a question, I promise they won't bite you. You may hear horrible things about certain teachers, but that means that they are one of the best teachers at the school.

3) DON'T group up in the hallway. You're blocking the hallway, and I can promise you that upperclassmen will push you out of the way without feelings sorry. Just stay out of the way.

4) DON'T be the freshman that thinks it's cool to not do your work. I cannot stress enough that you NEED to pay attention and work your butt off during high school. Especially freshman year, because it sets up your base credits to graduate. Just please, do your work.

5) DON'T make rational decisions without thinking about your reaction to it later. If you think you would regret what you're doing later, you probably shouldn't do it.

6) DON'T leave your friends for a guy. These high school boys that you love so much will not stick around for anything. High school relationships never last as long as you want them to. That's just how it goes. Always make time for your friends!

7) DON'T try to be one of the "popular" kids. I can PROMISE you that it really isn't all that to have 6 or 7 popular 'friends'. It's better to have 1 or 2 friends that know you and like you for you. Don't be someone that you're not just to fit in with people that you have nothing in common with.

8) It's time to grow up! Guess what? You're not in Jr. High anymore, you have to take responsibility for your own work and your own projects. Please, stop speaking badly of your teachers. They are here to help you with your education. Yes, they can be crazy sometimes, but they are there to get you ready for university. Stop acting childish because you actually have to do work at school.

9) Just a reminder that the senior guy that texted you last night, doesn't love you. He doesn't want you. He wants something that you shouldn't even be thinking about right now. Keep your head up, make him want you, and play a big game of hard to get. Only without him ACTUALLY getting you.

10) To anyone already in a relationship: please stop exploiting your relationship details to everyone that walks by you. I honestly could care less if you and your boyfriend fought about who was cuter last night on the phone. I'm just trying to get to class.

There you go! Just follow these and I promise that freshman year will be better than most!
