I just finished watching the movie entitled, "Hatchi: A Dogs Tale". I cried. A lot.
This movie was extremely touching. It tells a story about a Japanese dog who was transported on a train, and was picked up by a man. As the dog became older, he followed the man everyday to the train station. The man would go to work and the dog would wait until he he got off the train. When the man didn't come home one day, Hatchi still stayed at the station waiting. I cried for at least 45 minutes during that movie. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who has a love for dogs. It really shows how much a dog can be loyal.
Also, it is based on a true story. In Japan, at the same train station Hatchi sat at for 9 years, there is a statue of him on the exact spot he waited at. It's a bronze statue of the dog.
Have you seen it?
